NYC FW 2010 Womenswear - Richard Chai

Lets just say, I am very thankful for my new found ability to deconstruct and not judge based on first glance, because only the Lord could tell you, if I didn't learn to do those things, this collection would have been looked passed and not with a thought of looking back. So, I took my time, studied every look, still very unimpressed with some of the styling choices(*it was if, they were trying to achieve edgy when the clothing honestly just needed to be cool and comfortable*) but I was very pleased with the wonderful separates to choose from.

Good Job Richard Chai, definitely great to see alot of pants in a collection as well, a good difference...just wish some looks were edited to show off the true beauty of some of the pieces!

First lets start with the looks I liked:

Then the pieces that need the most visual deconstruction:
Give it some thought...but below...
Look 1: All three of those pieces look great but together maybe not so much!
Look 2: That is a beautiful coat!
Look 3: Yeah, maybe a tad bit military for this collection but, its a cool boyfriend jacket!
Look 4: Think of that blouse alone with that small ruffle detail - a great piece and the dress isn't so bad!
