NYC FW 2010 Womenswear - Marc By Marc Jacobs & Marc Jacobs

I just love Marc Jacobs...showing multiple collections isn't easy at all, everyone knows how good he is, and he just keeps doing it! Looks like his new engagement/marriage to Lorenzo really is keeping him happy and inspired because it showed...lets start with Marc by Marc Jacobs, it was comfy, full of colourful patterns with stripes, plaids and polka dots, the silhouette was very flowing and relaxed. It also featured menswear, not the best I've seen at all but nice pieces that you can definitely find space in your closet for.

Alright now, lets get on to the real deal...the Marc Jacobs collection...great clean lines, luxurious feel, he stepped his game up with this one...I really enjoyed it. It was a classic showing with suits, flared skirts, more furs, alot of mid length and floor length dresses and skirts. Great fabrics, embellishments, patterns...the bags, the heels all completed the wonderful viewing I had! Go Marc!

Front Row at Marc Jacobs: Rachel Zoe & her husband Roger were there, Anna Wintour (*of course, its Marc Jacobs), Joe Zee and Mary Alice Stephenson (who looked amazing at Carolina Herrera! and did it again!). Style was in full effect, i loved it!




Sigh...a Party happened as well, it was one of fashion's best nights for me, i felt so good to see one of my idols, Brad Goreski, Bryan Boy (*well I guess this means two) and of course, Marc's guy was there as well! I think the party was the IT party to be at, looked like so much fun, maybe sometime in the future i will get that invite.
